Carmen Carrasco Luján

Carmen Carrasco Luján holds a B.A. degree in Social Communication from the Universidad Mayor de San Marcos in Lima, and two M. A. degrees in Hispanic Studies and in Comparative Literature from the University of Geneva. Currently, she is a PhD candidate in Hispanic Studies at the University of Geneva. Her thesis analyzes discursive heterogeneity in the post-1989 Hispanic-American narratives. Her research areas of interest are late nineteenth century Peruvian narrative, contemporary Latin American literature, and the treatment of waste and surpluses in Latin American literature.
