Louise Rondel

Louise Rondel is a Research Associate at the Active Travel Academy in the School of Architecture and Cities, University of Westminster. Working across urban sociology and critical beauty studies, her research focuses on the relationship between bodies and spaces, urban infrastructures, walking and embodied methods, the uneven distribution of toxicity, labour practices and beauty consumption. Louise also co-curates Infrastructural Explorations, a series of walking workshops which invite participants to critically engage with different forms of infrastructure and their impacts on the urban landscape.
